A Book that Changed Your Opinion about Something
It didn't really change my mind about something as much as open my mind to new ideas from a different perspective, but Another Place at the Table, a memoir on foster parenting by Kathy Harrison helped me see not only the saintly part of foster parenting (as I think at the time of me reading this I was want to think) but all of the sides that come with the gig. It was a lovely memoir and the children she talks about were interesting to read about. I was glad that I sought out more information on foster care and ran into this book. It was a great read.
