Hi everyone! This is Julia of
The Broke and the Bookish, formerly blogging on my own at
The Competitive Bibliomaniac.
I read mostly historical romance, but can often be found reviewing paranormal romance, young adult books (mostly distopian/fantasy), fantasy/sci-fi, classics,
and the occasional non-fiction book about languages.

A Book That You Wish More People Would've Read
Another hard one! Let's switch everything around and go with some non-fiction. Eloisa James is one of my favorite romance novelists. But the book I want to recommend isn't one of her romance novels, but the memoir of shorts snippets and essays of her and her family's year in Paris. Paris in Love is mostly two or three sentence snippets, like Facebook updates (actually a lot of them were Facebook updates), yet there are themes and story progressions that go throughout the book.
It's a really fast read and a really enjoyable one. It makes you think and laugh. It's a wonderful memoir, and if you like that type of book, check this one out. It's worth the time.
