Hi everyone! This is Julia of The Broke and the Bookish, formerly blogging on my own at The Competitive Bibliomaniac.
I read mostly historical romance, but can often be found reviewing paranormal romance, young adult books (mostly distopian/fantasy), fantasy/sci-fi, classics, and the occasional non-fiction book about languages.
Feel free to follow and reblog!
Painfully obvious "mystery." Had to skim through the last 50 pages of the book. There was just too much of everything. I enjoyed the Cynster family... except for the horrid, horrid nicknames, but even so I just could get past the utter banality of this book. Never has a book had me skimming through the sex scenes before this one. Overall, I am disappointed. I wanted to like it, but just can't.
